Transform Your Body with Hohl Body Fitness

Do I need any equipment?

You do not need equipment. While having access to a gym and equipment is beneficial for maximum benefit, we travel with the following items:  bands with handles, monster bands, mini bands, padded ankle cuffs, boxing mitts and gloves.  Having access to chairs, doors, stools, and steps is helpful.

Do you offer virtual training?

While we have offered virtual personal training for clients in the past, we find in person training more effective so we can correct form to maximize the effectiveness and safety of exercises. If we work together and you go on vacation, we can do virtual sessions to maintain your routine.  We do not do 100% virtual training.

Are you insured?

We have liability insurance through NEXT Insurance and can provide a certificate of insurance (COI) for your building.  Please provide your building's COI requirements.

Are you certified?

While personal trainers do not need to be certified, I have a certification from the  National Federation of Professional Trainers (https://www.nfpt.com/) and completed the master program from the Focus Personal Training Institute (https://fpti.edu/).

Do I need to fill out any forms before I start?

Yes, we ask you to read and sign the following forms:

  • Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q)
  • Liability Waiver
  • Informed Consent
  • Client Policy (e.g., cancellation rules, refund policy, proper workout attire)

Do I need a doctor's clearance?

Most people do not need a doctor's clearance based on the PAR-Q form we have you fill out.  However, if you are pregnant, have given birth in the past 6 months, or have cardiovascular disease, we ask that you get a note from your doctor clearing you to exercise and indicating what, if any, exercises or exertion levels should be avoided.  Also, if you are in physical or occupational therapy, we ask that your PT give us exercises and movements to avoid or perform.

What is your cancellation policy?

There is a strict 24 hour cancellation policy.  If you are feeling sick or might get busy, it is best to cancel early just in case to save the session for another day.

Can I train with a friend?

You can train with a partner/friend for an additional 50% of the half hour or hourly rate.  Each participant must fill out all forms before participating.
